In the case where you might want to add an intro prompt for a queue, IVR greeting or change the holding music, Solgari Hub accepts the file format as WAV file in PCM, 16kHz/32kHz/48 kHz, 16-bit, Mono.
To convert an unsupported audio file, you can follow these steps:
- Download and install the free Audacity audio editor software.
- Launch Audacity, navigate to the menu File > Open. Choose the file you wish to convert.
- Once the file is open, click the menu File > Export Audio
- In the Export Audio window, under the Audio options section:
- For the Encoding option, choose Signed 16-bit PCM.
- Select either 16000 Hz, 32000 or 48000 Hz for the Sample Rate (we recommend 16000 Hz)
- Choose the Mono for the Channels option.
- Finally, click the Export button to save your converted WAV file.
