If you need to transfer an ongoing call to an internal or external party (or create a 3-way conference) - see below While on an active call, click either transfer button |

A new window will appear, select/search the extension from the dropbox, or type in the full phone number you want to transfer the call to in the the destination field (1) Then select the transfer method
- Blind transfer (2) immediately sends the orginal caller to the transferree and hangs up for the agent - Attend (3) will allow you to speak to the transferree first (placing the original caller on hold) - Cancel (4) will cancel the transfer process, call will continue as normal.

If you select "attend", and once the transferree has answered, you'll also have the followint options - Once the transferree has agreed to take the call, finalise the transfer by clicking "Transfer" (5) - You can also turn the call into a 3-way conference call by pressing "Consult" (6) - note that if the tranferring agent drops, call will end for all. - If you need to navigate an IVR before reaching the transferree, press "Keypad" (7) to access a numpad - Cancel the transfer leg and return to the main call, press the blue end call (8)
Note - clicking the red hang up icon at any point will drop the original caller. |
