Installing and configuring Zoiper on iPhone

Download the preferred version of Zoiper on your mobile, free or Premium. The Premium version will add call transfers and the ability to use multiple lines (putting the other line on hold while you make another call).

The Premium version has a one-time cost on the app store (ca. 5€). If you choose the premium version, the exact same configuration steps below apply.

Zoiper (free) - https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/zoiper-sip-softphone-voip-video-calls/id438949960?mt=8

Zoiper Premium - https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/zoiper-premium-sip-softphone-voip-video-calls/id787863350?mt=8

When you first open the app, it will ask if you wish to allow permissions for notifications, microphone and contacts. You should allow these.

(Camera permissions not needed with Solgari)

To register the softphone for your extension, tap on the QR code icon top left and follow the instructions on the phone.

The softphone is registered for your extension straight away after you’ve scanned the above code and you can start making and taking calls on your Solgari account.

After completing the registration, navigate to Settings > Incoming calls > Enable Force Background to enhance inbound call handling.

Please note that due to iOS handling of applications running in the background, we cannot guarantee inbound calls to be delivered when phone is in sleep mode. We will be in touch if we are able to find a way to improve inbound call handling.
